Swing thing

So Saturdays are sketch days over at Bella Blvd and I love this weeks sketch, so I decided to play along. Here is the sketch,

and here is what I did with it.
I went through my Bella Stash and found that the Winter Wonder papers worked perfectly for these photo's that I took while camping. You would never know that the original intent of this collection was winter. Love it!!

Hey Baby

I scored

I finally got inspired to do my sons birthday, eek....this is from 2 years ago.... I used my favorite red of all time, this is from the kraft Core collection, it is super rich. I paired it with some Jillibean Soup and OA gingerbread men. I used my trimmer to score the random grid pattern, really easy way to add a little umph......

In other crafty bits, I am continuing with my creations for the nursery, I just finished cutting up all this flannel for a rag quilt.

I will share it when it is all done, I just love the little mouse!!

My little Super Heros

We spend a lot of time indoors through out the winter and most of the time my boys look something like this. There are variations of couse, fireman, electricains, Mario brothers, {that one is just boys with eyeliner mustaches} but today these two balls of energy are "flying" around the house, just being my little superheros.

For this layout I dug into my Bella Blvd Stash, so most of it it from there. I love her papers and I am in love with all thier new tags ands stuff. There are a couple other things from October Afternoon and Smash, Pins are from Maya road {I finally found the stars :) } and of course the Cardstock is Core

Dreaming of warmth

Well the first day of spring has come and gone and this gal is still freezin her tuckus off. It was -2 this morning and my car had a thick layer of ice when I went to take the kids to school. BRrrrr. This months color insirations over on the Core'dinations Blog was this wonderful spring\summer pallette.

So while I dreamt of summer, I created this layout.

The bright and marvelous flowers are from Petaloo, Core'dinations has teamed up with them to create flowers that match perfectly to our papers. Did you notice that the pearls match too?? That is because Core'dinations is also teamed up with Queen n Co :) Wicked Cool eh!!!

Bunny Lunch

Easter approaches rapidly, looking at the calender is a little frightening. I am soooo not ready, heck I still have Christmas stuff up!!! However I got into the mood by scrapping last years Easter photos. LOL!! This was my table setting!!

Check out this little close up of the My little bit of Whimsy bunny pin, ridiculously cute!! To give the title a home of its own, I used Core'dinations and one of my spellbinders shapes and embossed the whole shape instead of  cutting it out, I love how that turned out!!

This chipboard is by one of my favorite Aussie companies 3 Tails and I used a little Smootch spritz on it!!

Looks like this might be the week to put away the other Holidays and get into spring cleaning. Oh Yipppeeee {yeah right}

Inside the cover

So a while back I was asked to participate in the cover challenge with Canadian Scrapbbooker Magazine and although I did not make the front, I made the "another take on the cover section" with this cute layout.
I drew my inspiration from this cute little guys tie, it is hard to see but there are cars on there and echo parks little boy collection matched it perfectly :)

The fabulous buttons are by my little bit of whimsy and that awesome checker plated cardstock is in the Jenni Bowlin bright Core'impressions collection.

All this week

This week on the Core'dinations blog we have been featuring projects with Core'dinations and Imagininsce, {one of my favorite pairings}and this is my first project. My sons favorite toy without a doubt is Lego, and it is an everyday occurrence around here.

Here is a little close up  of the lego pieces that I created with my I-roc and gems!!

In other news, I am getting very excited! I go for my ultra sound in a few days and will finally have a picture to share. I can't wait to see this little guy or gal. Why is it when you are pregnant it seems to take forever, but after it is over, it went by so quick??
