All in good time

So I am both dissappointed and relieved that I did not make the Nook team. It is a fantastic place that I will continue to visit and participate, but this go round was just not my time. Which is ok, because goodness knows that I have enough on my plate and I look forward to re applying next time. I know that when things are meant to be, they will happen on there own time.

In the mean time I am celebrating all the other good things and I thought what better way to celebrate than to share the love. My little bit of Whimsy is doing a big give away so pop over to there blog and leave a comment {or more} for a chance to win.

From me I have decided that I will give away a back to school whimsy sampler {a is for apple you know} all you have to do is be a follower and leave a comment here. I will pick a winner Monday. Mondays are great days for give aways!!!

For todays crafty little tidbit, I have this project. This is one of those extremely cheap clocks and I thought that I would give it a bit of life with a facelift.

I took the whole thing apart and then used it as a template. I used one of October Afternoons journalling tags for the center and then just put all the parts back together.
This was a really quick an easy project you just need to make sure that everything is flat enough that it does not interfere with the clock works.
