Rock in the New Year

If you are popping over from the Imaginisce blog hop, Welcome!! I am so excited to be participating in my first hop with them. Today's challenge is to re-purpose everyday items that can be found around the house. This canister started its life as a Hot Chocolate container.  It is so easy to peel off the old label and glue on some fabulous pattern paper to jazz it up. Here I mostly used the Live Loud collection, I just LOVE these little  robots. You can participate too for a chance win $75.00 worth of Imaginisce products.

I used my i-rock to add a little extra sparkle to the chipboard robot and I love that I can stack the mirror stickers.
 With this being the start of a new year, I've decided that instead of a resolution I'm going to choose a word. A word that I can keep near me, a word that I can see written, a word that encourages me to change my lifestyle in small steps. For me that word is FOCUS. I have always been easily distracted. It is not to say that I don't get the job done............it just takes me longer because...........I hit a lot of detours along the way. Whether I end up looking at blogs for hours,  zoning out on the food network or getting caught up on chatting. This year I really want to challenge myself to be more productive and make better use of my time. So I look forward to sharing the benefits of that with all of you, there is going to be a whole lot going on around here.     What a fun little container! I love the robot too :) And I also LOVE your idea for a resolution! I totally get it, I'm also easily distracted, oh look, something shiny..... LOL!

    I love altering canisters and I love what you did to yours! Great idea for your word for the year! As I get older I too have a problem with Focus. I might "lift" your word for the New Year!
