A little break!!

Well, I have no excuse for my week long absence except to say that I needed a little break. The beautiful fall weather and the work at the house, plus a couple extras that I can't share just yet have kept me so physically and mentally occupied, that I simply could not bring myself to the scrappy table. That being said I will have some great new things for you on Monday including a new sketch and some examples. Today I will share this layout with you, check out this feast!! Oh man do I love crab and once a year we go camping at an awesome crab and prawn site and just gorge all weekend long. Bring on the garlic butter.Products used Core-dinations Cardstock and Scenic route Pattern paper, American crafts brads!

Wild Things

It is fall fair time again and for me that means face paints. I loved getting my face painted as a child and the tradition continues with my kids.{Ok me too, I can't help myself} but the page focus's on the boys. I used my cuttle bug to create the tiger stripes and to mimic the stars in the pattern paper. Aren't my little tigers\jaguars adorable? Ok so I am biased, Happy Monday! Walk for the cure

So as I mentioned a couple posts back, I was in beautiful sunny Kelowna last week doing the walk for juvenile diabetes. Not many of you know, but I am a big twilight fan (I will not tell you how many times I have read the books). So when my sister suggested that we come up with a team name and have tank tops made. I thought "Hey Edward has blood problems. So I had shirts made that say Team Edward on the front and they think they have blood problems on the back. Together, my sister and I raised $1175.00, I did not get to many photos but when I saw this one I was inspired to get scrapping. For those of my friends and family who supported our walk, thank you so much.
Products used are Core-dinations Cardstock (black magic & vintage), pattern paper by Scenic route and October Afternoon, punches by fiskars and ek success, letter stickers by Making memories and Adornit. TFL:)
