Today is day two for the little cutie release party on the Imaginisce Blog and today we are showing off the boys. I wish you could have seen our design team message board explode with all the creations from this collection. Everyone was so excited about this, including me. So here is my card creation!
This card was hand cut, but I can't take all the credit, I saw the idea at the Scrapbook Carnival last year and have wanted to create one ever since.
I find the best way to create these kind of designs is to create a template. I start with an 8.5x11 piece of paper and do a rough drawing. When a design is symmetrical like this one I fold it down the middle and cut out along the side that I have drawn best and then unfold. Here is my template so you just have to save it, print it on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, fold along the straight edge and cut. This will save you the drawing part, then all you do is decorate, with buttons, pockets and anything else you like!
Don't forget there are chances to win our newest collection over at the Imaginisce Blog so head over to check out all the other creations.
What a darling idea - and very, very cute card! :o)
