Another great use for the punch

Well I hope all of you had a very Happy Scrappy Day yesterday, I only got to putter a little, playing with some flocking, but I will share that with you later. I was actually playing softball yesterday, I hit a homerun (pat on the back for me).

Last week I created this layout for a cluster challenge over at Daily Inspirations. I really wanted the page to reflect all the elements of my table, a little teal, green and yellow, some thing shiny, and something floral. I love the little bunny he is actually the place card that I created for my guests. For those of you wondering the graph stuff on the sides was done with magic mesh and a really dry paint brush technique and I wanted to share with you yet another technique with the most popular of scrapping tools, the punch.
So get out your favorite punch and give it a try. This one is the corner shape by ek success, Punch a piece of thick scrap cardstock (if yours is not think enough punch two pieces and put them together), position it onto the front of your layout, and then turn it over and using a stylus dry emboss. If you are using Core-dination paper like I have here give it a little sanding for dimention.
Have fun everybody!!
